Warlock arrives back on Earth, makes a couple of new friends (literally) and returns to Xavier’s Academy to find it trashed, and then finds out that something apparently even stranger has happened to the grave of his selfsoulfriend.

X-Men Unlimited #43 - a throw back cover to the 1980s by Bill Sienkiwicz
Cool New Mutants pinup circa 1986, although I don’t know the artist.
The artist is Salvador Larroca. This is an illustration made for the spanish edition of Marvel Comics. It was published in an issue of Alpha Flight back in 1990.
Many spanish artists like Pacheco, Pulido or Ferry did this kind of illustrations before properly working for Marvel.

A Friendly Screaming Match
Not sure if I’ve linked to this before, but if I have, I don’t care, it’s cute and deserves to be seen again! :)
Look at that happy little Cypher at the back!
[New Mutants v1 #35]
Warlock: “WHUP WHUP WHUP. Query, Illyana—WHUP—What is the point—WHUP—of this odd noise? Is it how helicopter-beings converse?”
Illyana: “Why not ask one, ‘Lock, and find out?”
Bobby: “You know he will.”
Illyana: “So? I wonder what kind of answer he’ll get.”
Because friends keep friends authentic.
And offhandedly troll each other.
